Chapter 4

DOM Settings and Filters

Three presets and separate volume thresholds

What does it mean?
Presets present the same data at different visual densities. Focus offers a calmer overview; Order flow uses finer clusters and delta bars; Liquidity emphasises the heatmap and volume profile. Custom describes a manually edited view.
Choosing a preset does not change exchange sources, detection thresholds or the time position.
How do you read it in CloudCraft?
Settings has four groups: Appearance, Trade bubbles, Detection, and Data and indicators. A dependent control may be disabled because its parent view is off.
Minimum level volume filters total resting liquidity on the same side within a price band.
Minimum bubble volume filters execution clusters.
The Execution Regions volume filter sets the region formation threshold.
Minimum hidden volume filters recorded hidden-liquidity markers.

How do you use it?

Example: 120 + 120 BTC within the same bid band totals 240 BTC and can pass a 236 BTC level filter. Each individual order need not exceed 236 BTC.
A region mean of 7.5 BTC multiplied by 2× gives an illustrative 15 BTC threshold. It does not apply to heatmap cells or bubbles. Heatmap Auto uses a separate threshold based on the visible book distribution, not the region's 24-hour mean.

Key points

Colour intensity and dimming affect presentation, not quantity. A wider price step can combine more levels in one cell.
Daily VWAP is a volume-weighted reference anchored to the UTC day's start, not the average of the zoom window. Unavailable deviation bands overlapping the mean do not mean zero risk or zero volatility.
Source toggles affect live contributions; they do not retrospectively separate already combined historical records. If saving fails, do not assume the preference reached the server.
